Dr. C. Wei holds a Ph.D. in Biophysical Sciences from the University of Houston, and an M.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. For four consecutive years, the school honored him with the “Dean’s Excellence Award.”
Furthermore, Dr. C. Wei is board-certified in cardiovascular diseases. He has written and co-authored medical books and abstracts, and has also contributed to numerous professional journals. In addition, he served as principal investigator for an American Heart Association grant-in-aid project titled, “Molecular Characterization of Fas-mediated Cell Death Signaling.”
