Dr. Armita Atashband is a highly respected interventional cardiologist specializing in venous procedures and sclerotherapy. She is board-certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular medicine, and internal medicine, demonstrating her expertise and commitment to providing advanced vascular care.
Dr. Atashband earned her medical degree from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. She then completed her internal medicine internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where she further honed her clinical skills and passion for cardiovascular health. Her dedication to the field led her to pursue fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine, where she was recognized for her outstanding performance with the prestigious Interventional Cardiology Fellow of the Year Award.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Atashband has taken on leadership roles within the medical community.
