Dr. David Wong graduated summa cum laude from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. He attended medical school at the University of Illinois Medical School. He completed internal medicine residency training as well as fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. During his fellowship, he served as Chief Cardiology Fellow and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
He is an interventional cardiologist who specializes in the treatment and prevention of blockages of the arteries of the heart. His prior research work includes publications on the diagnosis and treatment strategies of heart attacks. Dr. Wong is board-certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, and internal medicine.
