Dr. Atashband graduated from the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. After graduating, she completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. At the same institution, she completed her cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology fellowships. During this time, she received the prestigious “Interventional Cardiology Fellow of the Year Award.”
Dr. Atashband is board-certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular medicine, and internal medicine. In addition, she specializes in venous procedures, sclerotherapy, and peripheral interventions.
