Dr. Philip LaCombe is an interventional cardiologist specializing in complex coronary and peripheral vascular interventions. He graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University before earning his Doctor of Medicine from SUNY Upstate Medical University. Dr. LaCombe went on to complete his Internal Medicine residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, followed by a Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at Maine Medical Center. He then pursued advanced subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology at the renowned Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center, one of the nation’s leading centers for cardiovascular care, where he developed mastery in treating the most challenging cases with precision, innovation, and exceptional outcomes.

In addition to his interventional cardiology training, Dr. LaCombe holds multiple board certifications, including Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Internal Medicine.  He also completed specialized cardiac CT training through Johns Hopkins University.  In doing so, he brings a uniquely comprehensive perspective to cardiovascular care that empowers him to personally interpret and integrate advanced imaging into procedural planning.

Dr. LaCombe is a published author of several peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, and his research has been presented at national conferences. 

Outside of work, Dr. LaCombe leads an active and well-balanced life. He enjoys working out, playing soccer and pickleball, skiing, discovering new restaurants, traveling, and spending time outdoors—whether hiking, relaxing at the beach, or enjoying time by the lake.
