Krisjhle Munguia is from Canton, Ohio, but found her roots in Houston, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi and further pursued her Graduate degree in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at Purdue University.

Her extensive experience in critical care reflects her dedication to providing the highest level of care. Krisjhle has worked in various demanding settings, including intensive care units, float pool, rapid response, vascular access services, and the cardiac catheterization lab. She is board-certified in cardiovascular nursing (CVRN-BC), and she also holds certifications in Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) and the Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).

Beyond her civilian career, Krisjhle exemplifies her commitment to service as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy Nurse Corps Reserve, balancing her military responsibilities with her passion for patient care.

She truly believes in the power of patient education, striving to help individuals understand their medical conditions and encouraging them to make lifestyle choices that enhance their long-term cardiovascular health. 

Outside of her professional life, Krisjhle cherishes the time she spends with her husband and their two daughters. Family life brings her joy and fulfillment.
