Dr. David J. Luke, MD, an esteemed Vital Heart & Vein medical team member, is a seasoned interventional cardiologist who brings a plethora of expertise and knowledge to our health care center.

Educational Journey & Credentials

Dr. Luke embarked on his medical career at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine in June 2014, laying a robust foundation for his future in medicine. His commitment to excellence in his field took root early on, as he received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rice University in 2010, along with accolades such as the Trustee Distinguished Scholarship and participation in the prestigious Century Scholar Program.

He then honed his skills through a rigorous internal medicine residency at LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, which he completed by June 2017. Afterward, Dr. Luke pursued further specialization in cardiology through a fellowship at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, culminating in June 2020. He rounded out his fellowship training with a focus on interventional cardiology at Loyola University Medical Center, finalizing his postgraduate education in June 2022.
