Born and raised in suburb of Cleveland Ohio. Obtained my associate degree with honors through local community college on scholarship. Continued education with Ohio University; obtained bachelor’s degree with honors. Obtained masters degree with honors through Chamberlain University.
Spent my 15-year nursing career with the Cleveland Clinic. Worked as a bedside RN for 5 years on a cardiovascular step-down unit. Then spend 5 years in a medical ICU. As an NP I worked for the Neurological Institute on an Epilepsy unit, Internal Medicine, and now cardiology.
