Shruti Rao

Dr. Shruti Rao is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in Cardiovascular Disease with clinical interests in Echocardiography, Advanced Imaging, Preventive Cardiology, and Women’s Cardiovascular Health. She brings a patient-centered, evidence-based approach to cardiac care, with a particular focus on early detection and lifestyle-based prevention strategies.
Dr. Rao earned dual undergraduate degrees in Business and Liberal Arts from The University of Texas at Austin before pursuing her medical doctorate at Texas A&M College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the renowned California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco.
Deeply committed to advancing heart health for all, Dr. Rao is especially passionate about addressing the unique cardiovascular needs of women. Outside of medicine, she enjoys cooking, traveling, reading, and spending quality time watching TV and movies with her husband and young son.
