Vital Heart & Vein’s Dr. Nidal Ganim recently spoke to women leaders in law enforcement from across Texas at the 5th Annual FBI National Academy Associates of Texas event.
His presentation focused on heart disease and why it’s important to understand your own personal risk factors. He also shared practical ways to protect cardiovascular health through lifestyle choices, prevention, and proactive care.
Law enforcement officers give so much of themselves to serve and protect others, and the demands of the job can make their own health an afterthought. Conversations like this one are a reminder that taking care of your heart is part of taking care of the people who depend on you.
We’re proud of Dr. Ganim for sharing his expertise and helping these leaders take charge of their heart health. Thank you to the FBI National Academy Associates of Texas and to Craig Cummings for the invitation to be part of such a meaningful event.
