Dr. Rick Ganim is a highly respected interventional cardiologist dedicated to advancing cardiovascular care. He specializes in coronary and peripheral interventions and has played a pivotal role in research and leadership throughout his career.
Dr. Ganim graduated with honors from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and is a distinguished member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the University of California Davis Medical Center, followed by an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Texas-Houston, where he continues to serve as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine.
Board-certified in interventional cardiology, general cardiology, and internal medicine, Dr. Ganim has held multiple leadership positions throughout his career. He served as Chairman of Cardiovascular Medicine (2009-2012) and Chief of Staff (2014) at HCA Kingwood Medical Center, where he is currently the Medical Director of Cardiovascular Services.
